Gateway

Each year, over students take up the opportunity to explore possible career directions in our Gateway programme. The Gateway programme has been established to provide students with supervised work-based learning opportunities appropriate to their interests and strengths. Students can experience different work environments and ‘real world’ learning in an extensive range of industries.

Funded by Tertiary Education Commission
Integrated school programme, offering structured work placement programmes in the community to senior students who are achieving at school.
Students are expected to gain a minimum of 20 credits including, where possible, a range of industry related unit standards.
Needs 80% attendance to participate in this programme.
